S&B’s 47-gallon replacement fuel tank is designed to nearly double the fuel capacity of 2019-2022 Mercedes Sprinter vans, increasing range and reducing refueling stops. Replacing the factory 24-gallon tank, this upgrade is ideal for camper van conversions, fleet vehicles, and long-distance travel. Constructed from ¼-inch thick crosslink polyethylene, the tank is resistant to corrosion, dents, and leaks.

This direct plug-and-play installation fits into the stock location with an additional rear strap for extra support. The fuel gauge remains functional, though it will stay on full for the first 5-7 gallons before moving normally. The distance-to-empty (DTE) display remains based on the original 24-gallon capacity.

Fuel Gauge Accuracy & Distance to Empty (DTE):
The fuel gauge remains fully functional, but due to the increased capacity, it will stay on full for the first 5-7 gallons before normal gauge movement begins. However, the DTE will still calculate range based on the original 24-gallon capacity. For example, at 20 MPG, the actual range of a full 47-gallon tank is 940 miles, but the vehicle’s DTE will still display approximately 480 miles.
