BD's exchange valve bodies are modified, tuned, and tested to deliver optimal performance for both towing and high-performance use. These valve bodies feature increased line pressure, a revised manual valve design, and a custom BD separator plate — all engineered to enhance transmission function and durability. This kit also includes a new heavy-duty governor pressure solenoid for improved reliability.

With first and second gear lock-up capability (AutoLoc or TorqLoc required), this valve body provides better engine braking when towing heavy loads down steep grades. Designed for reduced friction and increased longevity, this is a smart upgrade for any Dodge 47RE or 48RE transmission.
