BD's Heavy Duty EGR Coolers for 2003–2007 6.0L Ford Power Stroke Diesels are designed to replace the failure-prone OEM units that suffer from weak brazed joints. When these factory units fail, coolant can leak into the cylinders, causing hydrolock and severe engine damage. BD's upgraded coolers use TIG-welded 304L stainless steel tubes with 0.375" outer diameter and 0.048" wall thickness for superior strength and reliability.

Water deflectors are integrated into the design to increase turbulence, improving heat dissipation and reducing the risk of overheating. Each unit is pressure tested and includes an O-ring and threaded insert. No tuning is required, and the unit will not trigger a check engine light.
