The front bushing in the Chrysler 68RFE overdrive clutch hub serves not only as a key support, but the oil grooves are an important path for OD clutch lubrication oil. OE bushings have lube supply grooves that vary in depth and lube oil volume. Other aftermarket bushing grooves restrict OD clutch lube to far lower levels than the OE bushings.
