Factory underdrive balance piston snap rings are known to expand and blow out under high load conditions, potentially causing catastrophic damage to the overdrive clutch drum and underdrive hub assembly. The SunCoast billet retainer helps eliminate this issue by increasing spring load and securely retaining the factory snap ring.

Manufactured from high-strength 6061-T6 billet aluminum, this upgraded retainer is engineered for towing, performance, and heavy-duty diesel applications.
