Several key components have been upgraded to enhance overall functionality and restore hydraulic integrity. The factory accumulator piston, typically plastic, is replaced with a durable four-ring billet piston to prevent cracking and cross-leakage, ensuring consistent hydraulic performance.

To address common issues with the intermediate band circuit, the factory cast servo is upgraded to a larger billet servo that offers increased apply pressure and improved release characteristics. This servo features a four-ring design, with a square-cut Teflon primary sealing ring and an O-ring secondary sealing ring for enhanced sealing capability.

Further upgrades to the band circuit include a billet band anchor, a billet band strut, and a billet apply lever. The band is upgraded to a pro-series carbon graphite band, ensuring superior friction performance and durability.

The valve body and pump are recalibrated, and a new laser-cut, Sun Coast proprietary separator plate is included, optimizing line pressure and increasing fluid volume. Each valve body and pump is custom-built to meet the specific needs of the customer, whether for towing, street performance, or track applications.

Additionally, the 23 spline billet input shaft is made from 300 maraging steel, heat-treated and stress-relieved to handle higher torque demands. This precision-ground shaft is designed as a true drop-in replacement, ensuring a hassle-free installation.

The Sun Coast 47RE Transmission also comes equipped with new overdrive and lockup solenoids, along with an upgraded governor pressure sensor. Each unit is built with a DNJ billet solenoid housing and an upgraded governor solenoid for enhanced reliability.

The included billet triple-disc torque converter features a carbon graphite lining and a precision CNC-machined forged billet apply piston, ensuring minimal deflection and maximum performance. Combined with a billet cover, this setup guarantees long-lasting reliability and efficiency.
