The ATS 68RFE Billet Valve Body Channel Plate is a critical upgrade for RAM 6.7L Cummins trucks with the 68RFE transmission, addressing the common issue of cross leaks caused by the warping of the stock thin cast channel plate. This warping can lead to poor hydraulic performance, resulting in inconsistent shifts and potential transmission damage.

To resolve these issues, ATS designed the BilletProof Channel Plate, a 1" thick billet aluminum plate that is stress-relieved and CNC machined to include all necessary valve body channels, vent holes, and pressure testing ports. The billet design eliminates the risk of warping under high heat, ensuring consistent and reliable hydraulic flow.

The channel plate features enlarged critical channels, allowing for increased fluid flow to the clutch packs, ensuring quicker fill times and better clutch engagement during shifts. This results in smoother, stronger, and more consistent shift quality, particularly in high-performance and heavy-duty applications.

For ease of diagnostics, the BilletProof Channel Plate includes pressure testing ports with engraved labels, allowing for precise monitoring of transmission performance. The plate is compatible with both stock transmission pans and aftermarket deep pans, making it a versatile upgrade for a variety of setups.
