The AMP Research PowerStep™ Running Boards provide an easy and convenient way to access your vehicle with their power-retractable design. These running boards deploy automatically when a door is opened and retract after a 3-second delay when the door closes, tucking neatly under the vehicle for maximum ground clearance when driving. The 6-inch wide, textured, slip-resistant surface ensures safe footing, while the integrated LED lights illuminate the running boards and surrounding ground for enhanced safety during low-light conditions.
Built from durable die-cast aluminum, the PowerStep™ boards are corrosion-resistant and finished with a military-grade PTFE coating to protect against wear and tear. The 600 lb load capacity per board doubles the strength of many other running boards, providing long-lasting reliability. Each set comes with a vehicle-specific mounting kit and hardware, simplifying installation, and newer models are compatible with a plug-n-play OBDII module for easier integration into the vehicle's electrical system.
For added control, an optional manual override switch is available, allowing users to lock the boards in place as needed.
