- Enhanced Valve Springs: Equipped with 105-pound valve springs for improved performance.
- 5 Axis Port Job: Precision porting that retains the factory intake plenum, increasing intake flow from approximately 155 CFM stock to 220 CFM.
- Performance Benefits: Increases low-end performance, reduces boost pressure, and lowers EGTs, allowing more fuel to be burned for greater power output.
Detailed Process:
- Head Options: Choose to use your own head or one of our head cores.
- Disassembly: The head is disassembled and all soft plugs are removed.
- Cleaning and Blasting: Thorough cleaning and blasting to ensure a pristine surface.
- Crack Check: Performed to ensure structural integrity.
- New Bronze Guides: All new bronze guides are installed for durability.
- Heavy Duty Seats: Extra large seats placed on both intake and exhaust sides.
- 5 Axis CNC Porting: Advanced CNC porting with the stock intake shelf in place for optimal airflow.
- High Performance Valve Job: Precision valve job performed to enhance performance.
- Resurfacing: The head is resurfaced to meet exact specifications.
- Painting: Professionally painted for a durable finish.
- Assembly: Assembled with all new valve seals, soft plugs, and HD springs.
- Pressure Checking: Valves and coolant passages are pressure checked to ensure top quality.
*Cores must be in good condition with no cracks and must be rebuildable. D&J Precision Machine will inspect your core upon arrival to determine its suitability for rebuilding.
