RedHead Steering Gears Part Number: 2851 (3 Turns).
Part Number Fits: 1967-1976 GM Pickups, Blazers, Jimmys, or Suburbans.
Please Note: This steering gear has a notch in the output shaft, which indirectly turns the tires, a pinch bolt style is used to connect it to the pitman arm. (Please see the second photo on your left, you will see this notch in the output shaft)
If the steering gear output shaft is threaded, then you have a nut and washer holding your pitman arm to the streering gear, 2850-3T (Please see the second photo, you will see the end of the output shaft is threaded)
If you are interested in doing a 4WD crossover steering conversion from a 2851 to 2850 steering gear, then you will need to order a new pitman arm, which we do not stock, and then order the 2850 gear in the link provided above.
Please Note: This Steering Gear is available in a 4 Turn option which is applicable if the vehicle is used for off-roading, has tires that are at least 37 inches in diameter, and more leverage is desired when steering, 2851-4T
