EXHAUST BRAKE VARIABLE VANE CHEVY/GMC LMM DURAMAX 2007.5-2010

Variable vane turbochargers used in today’s diesel engines not only reduce turbo lag and emissions but also provide an effective means of engine braking. BD harnesses this functionality by electronically closing the turbine vanes, producing up to 130 retarding horsepower. This added braking force helps maintain speed and control during descents and tight curves. Integrated with cruise control, the system manages acceleration and deceleration automatically. Installation is straightforward, utilizing factory ports and an in-cab dash-mounted switch.
