Thick, cast A356.0T-6 aluminum is superior to stamped steel for cooling engine oil. PPE has engineered deep exterior fins that increase surface area and takes advantage of underside airflow to lower oil temps. Gussets provide strength and rigidity to the housing. The high-power Neodymium magnet equipped, hardened billet stainless steel drain plug attracts and holds damaging ferrous metals. The factory plug has no magnet and provides no protection.

Recommendation Disclaimer
If using a copper washer SKU 114052002 on the drain plug, replace it with a new washer during each service.
