Ford Super Duty 6.0L Power Stroke Head Stud Kit
For engine builders who demand the ultimate level of strength and precision in their fasteners, the PPE-288 Head Stud Kit is the ultimate solution. Our proprietary alloy is specially formulated for improved hardenability and superior stability in high-temperature environments. Its ultra-low impurity level also allows for better fatigue behavior when compared to its competitions.
With an independent lab tested tensile strength of over 280,000 psi, these studs allow for the extra high clamp load in extreme applications as well as preserving excellent fatigue behavior - they will definitely surpass your expectations and deliver the performance and reliability that you need.
With accuracy and durability in mind, each PPE fastener is heat treated, precision centerless grinded, thread rolled, and surface treated, resulting in superior durability and reduced stress concentration at threads.
Each kit includes 12-pt nuts, washers, M8 head bolts, and an assembly grease packet for uniform load distribution and accurate torque readings.
