BD ProTect68 Transmission Pressure Control Kit – 68RFE
The BD ProTect68 Transmission Pressure Control Kit delivers up to 150% of the torque holding force in stock 68RFE transmissions—without requiring pump modifications or transmission removal. Designed to address the weak points of the 68RFE, the kit includes an industry-leading custom bonded gasket valve body separator plate and gaskets that significantly reduce cross leaks, even under elevated line pressures. A heavy-duty accumulator plate prevents accumulator blow-out, while the electronic pressure control module increases clutch apply pressure up to 250 PSI.
This module dynamically adjusts hydraulic pressures based on turbo boost and engine load, preventing clutch slippage and extending transmission life. Installation takes just 2 to 3 hours, with no full transmission relearn required. Ideal for stock transmissions up to 450HP. For higher power levels or demanding use, a full BD 68RFE transmission is recommended.
