Suncoast 47/48 23 SPLINE BILLET DIRECT DRUM

Our Ultimate Weapon Billet Direct Drum is made from 4140 billet steel; this is to ensure the utmost safety when you consider the direct drum is traveling 2.2 times the speed of the engine. As you can imagine, when things let go at that speed, the results are catastrophic, and we've all heard the stories of severed limbs with transmission failures. This drum also maintains conformity at higher RPMs, reducing deflection when the band is applied. This combination has proven to dramatically reduce shift times. In addition to the safety features, this drum has an extended snap ring groove to allow the inclusion of more clutches.
