Description
The 10-speed transmission platform (10R60,10R80,10R140,10L60,10L80,10L1000) is part of a joint-venture between Ford Motor Company and General Motors to design and engineer two transmissions, a longitudinal 10-speed transmission and a transverse 9-speed trans-axle. Each company will manufacture its own unique version of the transmissions in their own factories. The 10-speed transmission was designed by Ford, while GM designed the 9-speed transmission which is used in transverse applications.
This is a 10R140 "B" clutch pack featuring Raybestos GPZ clutches and Steels. This is a stock clutch count power pack for the 10R140. This kit includes everything you need and is a complete drop in with no other modifications needed.
The 10R140 B Clutch GPZ Friction Clutch Plate features enhanced performance made-in-USA GPZ friction material and is an upgraded replacement for the Ford 10R140 B Clutch OE friction clutch plate.
